With 156 LED's - 48 red, 36 green, 36 blue, and 36 white - The LEDJ Cobalt is visually comparable to a 250-watt halogen lamp. It features 4 DMX channels, a strobe function and 0-100% dimming
What makes the Cobalt really special is that the fixture contains white LED's along with red, green and blue for added stunning effects. Great for DJ's, bands and clubs, this effect offers amazing output and spectacular programmes and is capable of covering an extremely wide area. Its RGBW (red, green, blue, white) LED's produce brilliant beams and colours which outshine traditional halogen moonflowers and look great with or without a fog machine.
Because LED lamps can be turned off and on individually, the moonflower's built-in programmes can create a variety of breathtaking chases and patterns that would not be possible with a halogen fixture. An new advanced lens enhances the LED's visual intensity, sharpening their beams.
The fixture can be operated in 3 modes: DMX, Master-Slave and Sound Active.

They Have Their First Outing Tonight, A Birthday Party In A Small Hall. I Run Them In Master-Slave Configuration, And They Produce Nice Clean Colours (As Most Led Lights) And Also Have A Nice Fade Feature For Some Transitions, So Its Not All Hard On/Off Changes. I'm very impressed. i guess if pushed into any negative things, it will be the spread isn't that big - but if you can get the lights up high, this will be better, i was pushed for headroom. i'm looking forward to dmxing these with my dynaroll in a few weeks! so in summary, a lower cost alternative to the impossibled (and clones). |
