i am extremely satisfied with my giraffe(4ft)very easy to set up and dismantle.have had mine 3 years and makes me feel very professional and looks great.however i have lost one of the cross bars and want to replace it.any ideas where to get one or do i need to replace the whole bundle.thanx in kind anticipation pat

Excellent product, very sturdy and I've had mine for about 3 years. lighting bar doesn't sag like some cheaper models and it's easy to put together on the road. would've given it a perfect rating except for the tightening nuts on the cross-members....they do wear out quite quickly and when they're loose, the stand can rock from side to side like a cradle! but spares are available, and fairly cheap too.

I Have Been To My Local Stores And They Don't have stock of this or any of the similar ones and when they do they are at least £40 more expensive than this!! i saw many deals on the web i needed this in a hurry so i called a few to see if they had it in stock, many stores had this at a slightly more expensive price but they sometimes added stupid amounts for p&p up to £25 more just for p&p well dj superstore did not! i rang several sites before finding this one and all went to answering machine and they never called back..i called dj superstore and was greeted by a friendly professional man who said they didn't show stock but he would find out and call me back and i was amazed when he did so quickly and said they were in stock and qualified for free delivery! having worked in despatch for an it company in the past i was surprised they used ups as these are a lot more expensive than the couriers we used .our couriers (the usual culprits)were cheap but they kicked and slung the gear in vans and items often went missing when we used cheaper couriers , ups have a excellent reputation but they were too costly for the company i worked for and i was pleased but not surprised when i saw the friendly ups guy turn up with my stand the next day in mint condition. the stand itself is excellent ,well made easy to put together. i will be buying more from dj superstore that is for certain.

This stand is great, compact and easy to assemble. I have been using it for 1 year and there is no sign of wear and tear in the joints or the frame itself. I would advise you buy some extra washers, i've lost loads and there were only 2 with the frame itself. as for dj superstore. they are one of the best places to get your gear from. they know their kit inside out which was really reassuring when i was upgrading. richard www.thevinylcountdown.com

I have owned one of these stands for about eight years, and I have found it to be excellent! You could barely buy the bits to make one yourself for this price. It is in the main quite stable, the crossbar is pre-drilled ready to take your lighting, and it all slots together in seconds. Really!! It would be nice if you could buy some extra bits to customise it more yourself, for example being able to extend the lighting bar behind you to take a star curtain back drop. I have got a friend with some welding equipment who is going to carry out these mods for me, but all this aside, in my 30+ years of DJ'ing, i can honestly say that this was well worth the modest investment and keeps the roadshow looking professional whilst at the same time reasonably portable. a five star product!! buy one - you won't regret it!! steve. www.playbackdisco.co.uk

well i saw the item for sale,placed my order and expected some slot together tubes that would do the job,WOW,item recieved the following day and im well impressed with what i recieved,its very big, its well built, ita a lot more substantial than i expected,it slotted together a lot easier than expected, what a bargain, previously i spent £50 on a lighting stand that cant even compete,if you need a DJ deck stand with lighting stand then buy this oneif you want a no fuss next day delivery service then buy it from djsuperstore
