First of all, these are very robust. they can take a lot of punishment and wont break easily, unlike some cheaper headphones you can buy. Sound quality is exceptional. What makes these headphones stand out and an essential purchase are the earpieces. They trap the sound so well, that you can have the headphone level quieter than usual, saving on your ears. They are that good, you could use them as ear defenders. The sound is comnpletely contained within the earpiece, allowing better differentiation between haedaphone + booth monitor. Basically, if you want to improve your djing, these headphones will do that. Worth every penny (ps. These are the headphones used by majority of tv reporters/commentators etc.)
