Without a doubt the best turnables iv ever mixed on, iv had my set for comin up to 5 years now n dont think im ever gonna ave to buy another deck. they a perfect for wherever you playin... home,club or radio... Mixin or Skratchin :) my advice if ur gonna buy technics get these ones. they cured the pitch wavering around the 0% and theres no click (a personal hate of mine) they'll never let u down n u can replace the pitch control urself, meaning no hefty maintenance charge for repair. there are no down sides to having this deck. dnb uk 2009

What a deck but com onpeople why in the world would u want to go above +8% are you crazy?you have a micky mouse cd collection you want to reprduce live ? on the other hand very nice sleek and sexy deck please technics put the pitch back to +8 -8 and give your fans there 0% click back , real dj's will know what i mean i will always stick with mk2's

Well I'm just as crap at scratching on these as i was with with my now 15 year old mkii 1200's (i've watched all of the dmc championshps too :o). but what a fantastic deck. my silvers were showing their age and that they've been gigged quit a bit so i decided to get some trophey decks in my dj'ing retirement (the gold ones were a bit extreme, would probably have to hang those on a wall somewhere). great decks though, grandaddy of them all. if you can mix and scratch with these then you deserve them.

I have been a DJ for 19 years. I'm about to order my set of the sl 1210mk5 g's from this web site. can't wait to get them! i know these decks are top of the line and no way you could go wrong with them! i give these decks a 20 out of 10 for sure! i'm also ordering an allen&heath xone6:2 mixer! boy what a match up! along with some carts and tech head phones. these guys at dj superstore gave me a great price and they are really good guys!.... thanks john! dj lexxxus c btw, dj sasha rocked in guangzhou on the 18th of nov. & he's a super nice guy!

What a difference from the mk II 's !. i bought a pair of mk 5's last week, and i wont be looking back!. they're fantastic to play on, i'd have to rate these 10 / 10.

The BEST decks in the World. I would Recommend to a serious professional DJ. Not recommended for Bedroom Or house Djing mostly club

well what can i say? these are probably the best decks ever made! i had to scrounge £1000 of my dad to get these. but it was worth it.

Technics have done it again. What a deck. I hope to be getting a pair of these in the near future, case them up and get myself round the country again, taking the funky french house to the dance capital of the Nottingham.

I think its about time thechnics added some pitch, and they have. That was the only 1 thing I was let down by the mere 8% , but now the sl1210mk5g boasts +16% which means for me they are PERFECT in every way,plus they`ve even added some torque.in a word awsome.there is just one set back now ,the price i`d have to sell my left bollock just to be able to afford 1 £474.50 OUCH
