Pioneer CDj1000 Mk3.....the way 2 G0!! coming from a numark background, where Numark CDN800 do every you want a deck to do, the pioneer cdj1000MK3 have bought a new meaning to "I Use CDs". having been a club DJ for 5 years, the best record deck i'v used were vestax. if you want to get anywhere, i suggest you invest in a set of these! dear yes, but the way to go. from a vinyl die-hard, there is't anything you can on pioneer cdj1000 mk3 that you cannot do on vinyl. i bet you a pint

despite what anyone else says these are just absolutely the best bit of kit ever made, ive had no problems with mine so far (touch wood) honestly get out and get some, you can do things on these vinyl wouldnt have a hope in hells chance

Ok I am a Denon man through and through I must admit, however these decks are industry standard, but why, they use a belt to control the platter??!?, however if you need to do a quick cue thse decks wont do it for you automatically you have to find cue points all the time and set them in the most akward way going, even the looping is hard to get to grips with, to be honest these are nothing like mixing on vinyl. I also found that the decks did not hold their pitch well at all.

several places i work use the pioneers...... at first they are excellent and will play flawlessly any CDR you give them - but typically about 2 years in they suddenly start taking ages to cue up and will ocassionally jump/stop altogether. but what can you do when they are so damn cool?

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE !!!!! Hmmm! Have these reviews been written by Pioneer themselves? The reviews all sound like product descriptions! Anyway, I own a pair of CDJ 800s (bought March 2005 brand new). The lasers did not last! I thought pioneer were the best and was going to upgrade to CDJ 1000s when i discovered a shocking revelation. As a matter of principal I could not sell my pioneer's without correcting their "wear and tear" laser defect noticeable by the increased length of time taken to read a cdr. (have you tested yours?? some disks may stop reading all together! have you checked? anyway back to the shocking revelation). two new lasers were bought that replaced the old ones. i insisted that the old ones were not thrown away so i could inspect them for myself only to discover....!!..........(sorry still in shock)........that they were made by sanyo!!! who?? what!!?? sanyo! no more needs to be said except that i am not spending in excess of £700 on sanyo cdj1000s with pioneer cdj1000 labels that may also become defective after 1.5 years when my guarantee has clearly expired!

after 20 years i finally went over to cd with the technics sldz1200 but every where i play they have pioneer so i bought mk3 the other day / verdict, excellent peice of kit and its actually much better to mix with than the technics or dare i say records / basicly anyone will be able to mix on these with hardly any practice.

Thia piece of kit is simply fantastic. Finally got my hands on one today, and am very happy with it! I already had the MK 2's but these are in a league of there own. all i can say is head straight for the no.1 cd deck.... i can see why they are industry standard!
