Bought This Inexpensive Unit With A View To Hiring It Out. It Seemed Simple To Operate And There Are A Minimum Of Untidy Wires. Just What The Majority Of My Non-Dj Hire Customers Want. I Wondered If It Was Going To Be Ok, As I Had Heard Some Poor Reviews. But It Has Actually Turned Out To Be Quite Good !!! Nobody I Have Hired It To Has Had Any Complaints... Not One. I Had Never Used For A Night Myself. But When My Trusty Denon Dn-2600F Developed A Fault, I Was More Or Less Forced To Have A Go. In Its Favour, It Is Very Light And Easy To Carry And Set Up. The Dedicated Flight Case Fits Like A Glove But That Is Very Poorly Built. The Plastic Porthole Cover At The Back Fell Apart The Very First Day. The Cd Player Itself Has A Rather Better Build Quality. None Of My Cd's-some of which are copies and in pretty poor shape, failed to play but the unit has an annoying tendency to start playing a cd as soon as it is inserted, rather than waiting for u to cue it. it does not have master tempo either, so although you could adjust the pitch by quite a lot, in practice you are restricted to about + or - 5% - otherwise you get some very funny looks ! the most difficult thing to master (after the superb denon) was using the jogwheel to minutely speed up or slow down a track. it seems to have very little effect at all. so mixing on the cdmix is not that easy. you certainly don't get it spot on every time. those problems aside-it does what is says on the box pretty well.
