What Can I Say About The Greatest Deck Ever To Grace The Earth,Just That.Technics Have Changed The Face Of Music For Over 30 Yrs,For The Simple Fact That They Are The Best In Terms Of Build Quality And Accuracy,A Lot Of People Will Tell You That There Are Other Decks That Have All These Gadgets And Can Go Backwards So What,It's quality over quantity that you should look for.and i say technics,as will probably every dj on the planet will,they are the best.i pretty much doubt numark or stanton are gonna last you another ten yrs.

1200's = supreme reliability. 30yrs of continual use and only a couple of pitch controls replaced in all those years. how much longer will they last? who knows? mine are still perfect and do everything i need them to do. perfect platter stability and they still hold the pitch speed to perfection. nothing else will stand the test of time like these.

Technics Are No Arguements The Best On The Market Without A Doubt. . .The Amount Of New Dj's who hav just started that come up to me an tell me that all these new out numarks, stantons etc are better. . .because they have more buttons to play with!! any decent dj in any decent club anywhere in the world will tell you that anything other than technics are really not even worth worrying about! they will last forever i have had my mk2's in my house for years and never had 1 problem with them, as for the mark 5's . . . . even better!!

Technics Are Great...But They Aint Worth It. Numark Decks Are Better. To The Guy Bellow Who Doesnt No Wot Hes On About (Mark) The Pitch On Ttx1S Is Not Incremented At 0.01% Its 0.1%, And Even So The Pitch Slider Is Just As Accurate As Technics 1200's cos its linked to the motor by an analog conection. the digital pitch readout is just a guide to allow you to beat match faster. wow and flutters about the same. technics 1200's/1210's are real good (industry standard n all that) but for half the price you can get something just as good (numark tt-200/500) or for the same price something better (ttx1s), so go numark not technics, unless you wanna do handstands on your decks.

Erm, The 1200 And 1210 Are Exactly The Same, Bar The Colour. You'd have to be an absolute idiot to say one is better than the other for scratching (for example).

Technics Are Built To Last, I Know People Who Have Had These Decks For 10 Years And Still Swear By Them. Not Only That, But In Terms Of Mixing They Are Unbeatable... People Who Argue That Numark Are Better For Mixing, Obviously Dont Know The First Thing About Mixing.. The Ttx1S Have A Digital Pitch Control, Which Is At A 0.01 Pitch Increment. What This Basically Means, Is That You Will Be Having To Constantly Adjust The Pitch To Keep Beats In Time, Otherwise You Will Trainwreck So Fast You're crowd will have already left by the time u get the beats back in time. with the technics, i can get the beats in time, and not have to worry about trainwrecking. the technics have a 'quartz oscillator' and this means that it holds the pitch better than anything else on the market. the wow and flutter is only 0.01% or something, compared to the stantons/numarks/vestax's 0.15%. if you want to mix the best u possibly can on decks, then look no further.

Why Do I Say This; The Other Decks May Have More Torque And Power But Why Do You Need It? - If You Can't mix on technics you've no hope as any kind of dj. the other decks can play backwards a) why do you need this? b)theres plenty of kits for technics that do this even if you do. the other decks have 78rpm why do you need this? how many records come out on 78rpm? answer - none and no 78's have been produced for at least 40 years! now for how technics are superior - technics will last forever (no they really will). can you do a handstand on other decks - no, they are made of plastic and will break, technics will not. can you get the other decks serviced? - no. can you get spare parts for the other decks - no. also technics have better accuracy than the other decks, if you tell them to go at a certain speed they will go at that and they wont change the other decks will. technics have everything you need an if you can't mix on them because you need other features like a bpm counter than you won't ever go anywhere as a dj and you should give up now! i could go on and on but all you really need to do is look in dj magazine look at any dj in any club and what decks will they be using, suprise surprise - technics.
