The Numark Axis 9 Is A Fantstic Cdj. Although It Doesnt Look As Flash As The Pioneer Cdj Range Or The Denon Range It Does Most Of The Things On Those Players When The Jog Wheel Is In Scratch Mode It Sounds Just Like A Real Peice Of Vinyl It Has A Bunch Of Effects And Has 2 Seamless Loops Nice Peice Of Kit And Very Cheap

Alright Then Its A Good Deck It Looks Nice Goes Well With Any Set-Up, But Problems Started To Occur About 4 Months Into Having Itthe Buttons Started To Fail And The Loops Stopped Working. Also The Wheel Started Failing And And Having A Good Wheel Is Crucial To Me. Cues Are Good Very Quick But Thats Where The Problems Are They Fail And If One Song Isnt Really That Long Then Youve Lost 8 Or 16 Bars.

Please See My Review That Has Been Misplaced Under Axis 2. Was Meant For The Axis 8 & 9. Basically There May Be A Problem (And I Do Stress May Be) With All Axis 8S And 9S. To Truly Test The Axis 8S And 9S Use Them As Ordinary Cd Players First! I.E Put A Cd Album In Them And Let It Play Completely Everyday. If It Starts To Loop At Any Point In A Manner That Sounds Like A Scratched Record Then You Have The Same Problem I Encountered. It's a random problem and can occur with new or old cds but will be very embarassing if it occurs when you're playing out.
