In response to customer requests, this summer an active 450 W rms 15inch subwoofer powered by Eminence will be available. The power amplifier module has a clip limiter with control LED, level control, phase reverse and stereo crossover at 120 Hz output. The maximum sound pressure level of the extremely powerful subwoofer is 128 dB. The housing is made entirely of high-quality 18-mm multiplex, with a very durable textured finish. LD Systems will feature the new, secure Volex power plug.

I got these about a month ago and have used them on 4 gigs with a pair of Mackie 450s. Very impressed, sound quality is great - not dull. Build quality is good with a straight pass-through output, or a high-pass output- all are in stereo, so you can use one and then connect to active tops (via the passthrough), or back into an amp (using the Sub's high-pass crossover) they are fairly heavy - but the handles mean they are easy to carry. lifting them by yourself should be avoided though. i've made a simple caster board, with makes moving them about very easy, if you're looking to use these as a mobile, buying or making your own board is a wise investment.
