I've used one of these for around two years now, and apart from replacing all the switch contacts (dj superstore done it for £50) the mixer has been excellent. sound quality is superb, eq has total kill capability and the build is sturdy and tough. there's no pioneer-type gimmicks, it's just a mixer for pro djs requiring fine audio detail. only the dodgy switches prevent a five-star rating

well what can i say had this mixer for 8 months and used every thu fri sat, what a load of poo. its turns it self off for no reason when the lap top is conected, in the middle of a set.now the thing just wont work, come on denon, workhorse my ar*e.

Good mixer when it works. Nice to have rotary input switches, lots of connections and individual channel vu meters. But Denon make it too complicated when it goes wrong none of the push-switches work. Also they made it a bit deep for many standard mixer flightcases.
